I am looking for a means to replicate data from a distributed XLS application that does sales configurations and quotes. My users do not always send me the quotes that are produced so we are too often playing catch-up.
The XLS approach works well and we do not find it completely necessary to replace, but we need to be able to observe the activity in the various XLS systems to make business decisions. The ideal solution would automatically synch the quote activity with a central database for later reporting.
Does anyone have any design suggestions?
