Filter and add to textbox

I am currently working on a spreadsheet that has a list of tool numbers and their locations. What I want to do is as follows.
1) Put a number into a textbox
2)Using filters select the required tool number and its location.
3)Place the filtered items into a list box on a user form.

Parts 1 and 2 work but I cannot get the filtered item into the user form and the No that shows up in the code is the first item in the list which is hidden due to the filter. Can anybody help. I am using excel 2003.
