Can't select cell when sheet is protected

I'm attaching an example sheet that comes from a multisheet workbook.

Cell B4 is a drop down selection for currency. When the sheet is protected, I am unable to access this cell by mouse click. I must tab to it to access it. I don't have this issue with the same scenario on other sheets.

Any ideas what setting I need to change?

Nothing to Unprotect the sheet.

I uploaded a new file where the Macro edit password is PW.

I deleted the row with the unresponsive cell and re-entered. It now works like it should.
