VBE activate event

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to capture VBE activate event such as Alt + F11 or call up VBE through the menu. My initial guess is that a class module would be required to define an event and then capture it. Would there be any simpler way similar to sheet activation event?

With Tools, Macros, Options you have the possibility to add a key-combination to start a macro.

Hello digita,

The only events that occur in the VBE are the Click event for the CommandBarEvents, and the ItemAdded, and ItemRemoved events for the References class. I have never attempted to SubClass these events. So, I can't say with certainty whether you can. There are no other events exposed by the VBE to Excel.
