    simple macro help needed...

    Cell A1 will be blank
Cell A2 will have an "X" in it
I need a macro that allows this:

If I place an "O" in cell A1 then
there will no longer be an "X" in cell A2....thus leaving cell A2 blank.
I would like to be able to enter any text into cell A2 as needed, after the macro removes the "X" from cell A2.

I can get it to the part where the "O" makes "X" disappear but when I try to enter info. manually into cell A2 my macro keeps clearing it right out leaving it blank. I have been looking all over the web, reading 3 different books for solutions and simply am having no luck. I hated to ask but I just cannot figure this out. Please help if poosible. Thank You.
