    Using data from different module

    Hi all,

    My situation is as follows:

module1 - makes changes to the excel spreadsheet
module2 - makes changes to the excel spreadsheet
module3 - makes changes to the excel spreadsheet

module4 - inserts text into access database memo field.

Modules 1-3 concern seperate operations and each of these operations should be recorded in access database by using module4.

I could just paste the code from module4 into each of the prior modules but i was wondering how could I connect these together.

How can a string defined in module1,2,3 be used in module4 which should execute once module1,2,3 operations are compleate?

    Please help,

    Slawek

    Hello swav_one,

Declare your string as a Public variable in any one of the four modules. Place the declaration above any Sub or Function procedures in the module.

    Well I tried ... :

But I get a compiler error: invalid attribute in Sub or Function. Debuger highlights the "Public" deffinition.

    Did I get it wrong?
