    Macro to remove items from spreadsheet

    I have two spreadsheets, one is a database of information on items and one is a locater for the items.
    I want to add a macro to remove items from the database, but i can't seem to figure it out. I put in a formula to show the location of the quantity (quantity is found using lookup function).
    But i don't know if you can have a dynamic reference for finding what to edit in the database through a macro. Is there an easier way?

    I'll give you an example of what i'm trying to do if i am not making sense. I tell it to look up item number 35 and brings up all the locations and quantities of the item via a lookup function. Next to it is amount to remove and a remove button. I want it to remove the quantity from the database i entered.
