Creating a bar chart from scratch

To explain what I am trying to do, I have a list of start and end dates in seperate cells on the left side of the sheet with dates running from left to right on the top of the sheet. I am trying to create a formula that will match my start and end dates on the left and put a predetermined input in every cell on that row that corresponds to the range of cells within the start and end date. Attached is a picture of what I am trying to accomplish that may explain better since I am self taught in excel. I do not need the colors in the formula cause I have that already taken care of.

Have you thought about numbering the weeks 1 - 52 - both in the start-end cells and across the annual calendar? You could do that in addition to displaying the actual calendar dates that you have now if it is important to retain them for visual reference. Using numbered weeks would allow you to match up the entered start-end range with the columns you want to fill - probably using simple IF logic in your formulas.

I have not tried that but since I am not that knowledgeable with all the different functions I am not sure what and how to use them.
