    Password in Excel

Is there a way i can make a sheet that a username types in with a password, that when he types that in a worksheet, that he can click on an object amnd either run a macro or hyperlink so if it is correct than he/she can go there. I have a page that has important variables that only a few should be able to access. I was going to hide the page or make the sheet protected, but thought this may be a better idea if possible.

    Good afternoon jerryjaysr

I have a template you are welcome to use. Each user must enter a username and password on opening the file, and only the sheets that they have been allowed to access by you in the setup page will be visible. You can also control whether a user should have full edit permissions on the sheet or read-only access. You as administrator would have access to all sheets.

If you (or anybody else) think you might be able to use this, then PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward it on.

    Also

I am also looking for a way to protect someone from seeing sheet formulas and also the whole book. So there are many ways I am looking for protection(1- sheet formula, 2 - whole book, 3 - individual sheets), BUT after reading many discussions here while searching each forum, my conclusion is that EXCEL's protections can ALL be hacked very easiely and quickly.

If so: What are alternatives. I have a health program done in Excel that was used to train athletes - Was used to train several Mr Olympia Athletes and works! My friend has spent 25 years and gave me the info to put together and works great! The only problem is I have spent months doing in Excel but I do not want anyone stealing his secret formula. As all the work I did for him was Free and I would be upset if someone stole the info from him due to my carelessness.
