    Smile Macro Time Clock

I'm really in a bind here and confused on how to solve this.
I'm creating a time clock in excel for my department and it works great but I'm stuck on how I can let everyone have it open or use it when excel doesn't allow macros on a shared document.
I'm afraid that someone will save the time sheet and save over someone elses punch in.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Nate

I haven't worked with shared workbooks, but there seems to be many disucssions in this forum. Search for "macro shared workbook"

Unfortunatly not. It's looking like their might not be away around this.

I created a macro in a workbook with a button that
Pastes the username, Pastes the time they punched in and a formula that shows the Employee's Name and Supervisors Name.

My dream would be a workbook that would update almost in realtime that shows when users Punch In and Punch Out and in a shared workbook.

My problem is that excel doesn't allow macros in a shared workbook.
Does anyone know of any way to do a timeclock like this?

What version of Excel are you using?

I have built workbooks with Macros that have been shared.

You need to remove the Share option for the workbook.

I'm using Excel 2003. I'd like to have a timeclock that is in almost realtime so it keeps refreshing and saves after someone punchs in.
