    conditional function

    Hi All,

    Have a question. In the table attached, if the cell value in both CO and Internal Order is blank then the third one called CO or Internal order will be blank. But if the CO cell has a value and the Internal order is blank then I want the third cell to give a value i.e. if one of the cells have a value and the other one is blank then the formula has to have a value.
    Hope to get some help on this…

    You can use a formula like this (to put, for example, in Range 'C5'):
    =IF(B5="";A5;B5)

    I hope it's what you need.

    Thanks for that. I was using a too complex formula for something simple. So that helped.
