my macro changes the date format why?

i recorded a macro to copy data form one workbook to another when i do this procedure by hand there is no problem. but when i used the recorded macro it changes the format of the date from "general" to "date" but the date format it chooses is the wrong (U.S)

I dont need it to do anything to the data when it is copied but it does!!! why ??


please help its really irritating!
