    Changing Default Color Of Cells

    Hi!

It seems like whenever I insert a new row, or fill a cell to the right, or do anything of the sort - the cells become the color white automatically unless specified differently.

This creates a problem because the white color covers up the gridlines - I know I can always select the new cells and format them to have no color, but I would much rather just like to change the default color from "White" to "No Color" - does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks!

    Dan

In most cases the default color is "No Fill".

Either check your default settings or possibly the cells you are copying or dragging across or down have their fill set to white.

Does anyone know how to change the default settings for the background cells? I changed the cells I was copying to "No Color", but when I filled to the right, the cells still resulted having a white color...

    Thanks!
