Macro or VB code for importing data in excel...imp

i need bit of help with this

i want to import data into excel from a txt file but i want excell to do this automatically rather than me having to use import data every time.
basically i have an excel database file which contains columns for which data has to be typed in everytime. i want excel to import that data own by its own.
i want your any help if you can advise me on how to do this.

i guess u didn't get me. i am asking for how to import data from a txt file into any given column of an existing worksheet. i dont want to create a new worksheet for the imported data.

and for this i need some help with macro or VBA plzzzz
