I have a form that I use for work in which I have to record the number of instances and duriation that we play a track of music. For example, if we use a particular track once for 30 seconds and once for a minute, I will record 2 instances for 1:30. I have set up a spreadsheet in Excel to automatically add the time. However, I'm having two issues:

(1) I can't seem to format the time so that I only have to type in digits. For example, if I type 0:30, Excel assumes that I mean 30 minutes rather than 30 seconds so I have to type 00:00:30 for it to recognize the time correctly.

(2) I'm not sure how to add the number of instances. I have it set up so that I have ten columns, which should be more than I need and I want to be able to put the time of each instance in the cell so that it will add up, then have excel recognize that of the ten colums, there are values in X of them and have that be the number of instances.
