    Selecting and displaying data

i have data in multiple columns. One of these columns contains a date. I wish to write a macro which chooses the user defined range of dates and display the information in the form of a chart for those dates.

    How can it be done?

    Hi,

You can do this without macros using named ranges and the offset command to specify the ranges.

In the attached example by changes the from and two dates, the chart changes accordingly. To see how the ranges are set up, press CTRL & F3.

By changing the values in G1 and G2. Look at the user definitions of the ranges, and you'll see that they are dependent on these two cells.
