Excel 2k7 Macro issue

I posted this in the general forum first, but then noticed this forum, so I figured I'd post it here as well.

First off, I am absolutely no expert in Excel. That being said, here is my question:

I have been given two files to merge. The first is a normal excel spreadsheet, the other is a macro with the .xlm (not .xml) file extension. I have been asked to import this macro into the excel spreadsheet. How is this done? Am I being too vague?

XLM macros are not in VBA and you also need to think about rewriting them for the newer format.
