Save spreadsheet with VBA code

I have programmed a button in an Excel spreadsheet with which I can save the spreadsheet. The problem I still have is that even after I used that button and I want to close Excel the program asks me if I want to save the worksheet.
In other words Excel does not know that I saved my work using VBA code. What can I do to tell Excel the worksheet is saved and that the question at shutdown is not necessary anymore?

Thanks for your answer but I still keep getting the question if I want to save my work or not. In other words it doesn't work.
