Define name for range of cells

Hi!
I have an import script for comma separeted file, but the data gets imported to the sheet, I'd like the several of the cells to be named, instead of doing this manually later. Is there a way I can do this in the same script as I import the data?

For example: can I name all the cells from A2 to the last cell with data in column A?

I would appreciate any helpful suggestions
