saving as

hi there, i am wondering if anyone can help me with this problem...

i want the user to enter a date into a textbox, dd/mm/yy and when they click on ok. it will then save the file as scddmmyy.xls

how can i achieve this?

any help greatly appreciated.

This is what you need, i placed my textbox on sheet1 so thats how i named it but if yours is on a userform you need to name it as such!

ok great thanks, one slight addition, sorry.
how can i have the file aswell as save in that format also save it in "C:\schedule\" and the filename begin with sc.
