    digital signature

My macros aren't accessible and I'm getting a message taht I need to install a digital certificate. I'm not selling anything - just recording simple steps or copying and pasting code from this and another web site.

I downgraded macro security to low but the enable or trust option it suggested to click wasn't available. It prompted me for a cd to use MS's digital certificate. Will that work? Is a trip to the computer store taht has the cd necessary?

    Thanks,

    Gary

digital signature needed for excel 2003 on xp

My last post ahs been unanswered, but I'm busy too, so I understand. I can't complain - this forum and Map Point forum have been great so far.

Anyway, I don't know how to make my macros available to my Excel workbooks. I'm getting prompted for a digital signature or certificate. The last responder asked what versions I was running and that is in teh Title line of this post.

I would think this would be a common concern since many people use macros. Like I said, downgrading security didn't work and I couldn't find an available button to set to "always trust macros from this source" or "enable macros from this source" as the help screen suggeseted.
