OnTime Refresh function help please

Hi All,

I'm quite new to VBA but can generally get get things to work but it seems to take me forever to do it...

I have looked on various forums and tried a couple of things but I think I'm doing something fundamentally wrong.

I would like a simple function to run continually in the background of a worksheet while it is open.

All I want it to do is simply enter a letter into a certain cell every 5 seconds.

theres probably an easy way to do it but could someone point me in the right direction please.
