In theory can a macro do this?

I am wondering if a VBA macro could access my company web page, follow a long path that opens another browser window that is password protected, and then select several options in a series of combo boxes, capture and return the data to excel? In theory is there any reason that this couldn’t be done?

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure there were work arounds for the passwords and combo boxes and extra windows.
