    Corolate data across multiple worksheets

    I'm a novice Excel user...

    We have an spreadsheet that we have several seperate worksheets for each day's worth of information. We have multiple clients that show up on different days throughout the five different worksheets. We'd like to somehow coralate and collect onto one view what clients show up on what days in a single view.

    Any thoughts on how this can be done? Thanks!

    so you have a workbook which has a sheet for each day of the month right?

    all the sheets are exactly the same right?

    while make another copy of a sheet and name it say Main sheet

    now in the cells you want to sum up type in the following


    =SUM(Sheet1:Sheet3!A1) into the cells you want. In the example what I did open a workbook and ensure that I had 4 sheets named sheet1-sheet4 in sheet4 i typed the above formula into cell a1. therefore anything in cell a1 in sheets1,2,3 will be added up. if I put in a 5th sheet and placed it between sheets1 and sheet3 it would add that cell a1 up as well.
