    Timestamp And Store Cell Value

    Hello,

I have some data that comes into a spreadsheet via the DDE, and subsequently some macros take that data and come up with, after various calculations, values. Which are displayed in about 8 cells. As the data flows in, the values in these cells change. I would like to be able to,

Anytime the data in one of these specific 8 cells changes, timestamp it (what time it was when it changed) and then store that time stamp AND what that value was, either somewhere else in that workbook, or to another sheet in that workbook, whatever, doesn’t really matter. As long as I can at the end of my workday, I can go into it and look at what the values were at any specific time.

There are about 8 cells I would like to apply this to.

    So for example:

    A1,B1,C1,D1,E1,F1,G1,H1

Any time the value that was in these cells changed, I would like the value itself and what time it was that the value changed stored somewhere else in the worksheet or workbook.
I think I explained that well.

I expect that the data in each cell could change up to 20-30 times a minute. That’s the high end. So it would be a lot of timestamping. I would have the spreadsheet running for about 7-8 hours per day. Each day could be it’s own spreadsheet.

    Can this be done?

    Please help.

    Franco

Oh, and Excel 2000 if that matters.
