Extract address from specific blocks of named range

    Hi Guys

Just can't get this figured out...
    In attached I have a range A3:D19

I am wanting to extract the individual range addresses per row cluster per column i.e.

loop x y z and extract team range addresses

    For Method x A = B5:B20, B = C5:C7, C = D5:D9
    For Method y A = B10:B10, B = c10:C14 , C = D20:13
    and same for z

    Good Luck...
I don't presume to know what I am doing, however, just like you, I too started somewhere...

Re: Extract address from specific blocks of named range

How about using arrays for the range addresses with an individual array for each method, then you can loop the arrays and the items in the arrays to do the extraction.
Any code provided by me should be tested on a copy or a mock up of your original data before applying it to the original. Some events in VBA cannot be reversed with the undo facility in Excel. If your original post is satisfied, please mark the thread as "Solved". To upload a file, see the banner at top of this page.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but with the method in H4 and the team in I4 it show the range-address in J4:

    Hi SjonR

    Nope, tx anyway...
Color coding is for explanation purposes only...
    Teams Method A B C x y z are not std and can change...

You have to click on the Go Advanced button, then use the Manage Attachments facility. The paper clip icon was removed because it never worked properly.
