I have an accounting workbook that has a mastersheet that stores data
for each month. I have then setup a summary sheet on the first sheet
with 12 buttons one for each month, when you click on a button, January
for example it pulls all the data from the mastersheet for January
using an advanced filter macro. The mastersheet is vast and therefore
it would be easier for the user to update the information on the
summary sheet than it would on the master.
Whilst any information changed on the mastersheet replicates to the
summary sheet unfortunately it doesn't work the other way. Is there
some code that will allow the data to replicate in either direction? I
was thinking along the lines of having an update button for each month
on the summary sheet so once the information has been entered it can be
refreshed on the master sheet.
I am new to vba and macros so this might not be the best way of going
about it any help would be appreciated,
