Changing the default print settings in Excel

I am trying to change the default settings in the Excel pring page setup for
the Margins tab. The default tabs are Top and Bottom at 1, and Left and
Right at .75. Is there a way to change these defaults permenantly?

I assume you are looking for a registry setting that controls this, but I
have never heard of one mentioned. The usual alternative is to
create a "template" sheet the way you want it. Then save it as a template
workbook (.xlt) in the xlstart directory below the directory containing
Excel.exe. Name the template sheet.xlt for a workbook, do the same, but
    name it book.xlt
