A cell formula linking to a cell in another instance of excel running on my
local machine is shown below:

=Excel.Sheet.8|'C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Desktop\TwsDde.xls'!'!tickers!R10C58'

is a similar link possible connecting two cells on two excel files running
on two different machines on the same lan?
