How to remove a Microsoft Web Browser's scroll bars that show a GIF?

    Hi there!

I've inserted a GIF on my sheet using this code:

By resizing my GIF picture, I was able to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to disable the vertical scroll bar.

Here are some things I did:
    1. Inserted four Microsoft Web Browser controls (MWB) (without adding any codes) that overlap the edges of my GIF picture. Sent the GIF picture behind these four borders.

->It appears to be working at first but when I save, close, and reopen the file the GIF pic still appears on top of the other controls.

    2. I tried to add codes to the four MWB that link to a plain white image and

->It appears to be working again but when I save, close, and reopen the file again the GIF pic still appears on top of the other controls! :O

    3. I tried to add an Image control but I still get the same result.

    4. I tried toggling my settings on GIF properties but they don't really change anything on my image.

    5. I've also tried making the GIF bigger than the MWB, still nothing.

I hope I was able to explain my issue clearly enough. Please help! Thank you in advance.

MickG! Thank you for the prompt reply! It did remove the scroll bar! Thank you! I'm wondering if there's also a way to remove the gray borders/frame around it. Here's the code I used:

Hi, I've not noticed the grey area, perhaps my Images is the same colour as surround. You could try putting the Web browser in a Userform or Text Box this may help.

Hi Mik! If you don't mind, kindly check out my two attached pics. They are screen shots of the so-called "gray lines" I'm referring to. Actually, I think to put it more accurately, what I'm trying to change is the "embedded" "sunken" look of the web control. I sent 2 pics cause the first is to show what I see when the file is opened the first time. If you would notice, even with the right code, it still shows the scroll bar. It's only when you click go to the other sheets then go back, the scroll bar disappears. Thanks much!

Hi, The original code I found was similar to below. I placed the "DoEvent " in the code as it worked for me.
The code need a delay to operate the Scroll Bit.
    Ref:-(Private Sub WebBrowser1_DocumentComplete)
You can get more infor (As I Did) from "MrExcel.com" , you'll need to search.
I don't know much more about it that you, now.
    It's a matter of Searching.

Hi guys I know it has been a long time since this question was asked and answered, but this is exactly the problem I have. I have tried using the code but it doesn't work for me, is there any changes to the code as I am working on office 2010 that I can do to make it works. Thanks in advance...Steve
