    Embedded queries...

How can I view an embedded query?

I have inherited a spreadsheet and I need to validate the data being pulled.
How can I do this if it is embedded within the worksheet?

    Re: Embedded queries...

Right-click within the query output range on the sheet and select 'Edit
    Query'.

    Re: Embedded queries...

    Hi Mike,
I'm on Windows 2000 and using Office 2000. For some reason, the Edit Query
appears, but when I click on it, nothing happens? I don't get my query to
edit and I don't get any messages? Any clues as to what might be going on
    here?
    Thanks,

    Re: Embeddpsed queries...

I had this happen recently. It turned out the worksheet was protected. It
would not show there was a query there that I knew existed.

    Hope this helps.
