    Range Selection

    Hey,

I know that what I,ve given below is wrong and that exactly is the reason why I'm asking your help.
So, how do I correct this statement below?

    Range("Cells(R1, C1 + 2):Cells(R1, C1 + 16)").Copy

I need to select a range of cells, But with reference

    anyone out there???

    >>Range("Cells(R1, C1 + 2):Cells(R1, C1 + 16)").Copy

Get rid of the quotes and use the row and column indexes in instead of
    the R1, C1 references:

    Range(Cells(1, 3):Cells(1, 17)).Copy

    Re: Range Selection

Well, If I had to use the row and column indexes, I don't have to use the
cells option at all and I can simply put it as A1:A17

OK, what I.m trying to do is to search for a name in a list (Row 1to 100 and
column 3) and copy the information against that name.
I've put in a loop to search the name in the 100 rows.

    You want another one?

    cells(r1,c1+2).resize(1,15).copy

Start in whatever cell cells(r1,c1+2) is and resize it to 1 row high by 15
    columns wide.
