    vba and antispyware

I have just got a new pc and am transferring programs etc from the old
    to the new.
The old has xp sp2 and excel 2002, the new has xp sp2 and excel 2003.
Everything works aok on the old.
But when I try to run vba programs on the new, I always get Windows
Installer trying to configure Microsoft Antispsyware and this ends with
    error 1706.

Could someone tell me how what is causing this and how to stop it?
    Thanks
    Chris

    Chris,

I haven't a clue, but you could try posting your question at...
    "microsoft.private.security.spyware.install".

There are some posts there complaining about the Windows Installer.
