keep menus in excel macros that are copied to another computer

when i work on macros at work and want to take them to my home computer to
work....popup menus do not transfer and i've been told that's because it
makes change to the application programs (excel) and these menus must be
recreated when copied to another computer.......in the old lotus macros the
menus were created with code and worked on any machine with lotus
    installed???????????

    any help thanks jr

Post your code... There are a number of ways of making menu's and forms pop
up so it is hard to comment without seeing your code.
