Hi to all!
I need an advice on following - we are developing a piece of software that
works with Excel, basically at the end a user would get an excel file with
his or her's data. We also allow our users to use macros on the excel file
while the file is being created. When the file is being created it is not
shown to the user, all of it is done in the background. With Office 2000 we
had no problem plugging in the macros, but with Office 2003 our macros get
blocked. I am wondering if there is a way to specify that all macros are
good, I have been reading on Digital Signing of the VBA code but it is my
understanding that it does require the user to "OK" the macro prior to using
it, in this case it is impossible as the user does not see the file until it
is finished being created. I guess the idea is to go back to the level of
security of the Office 2000?
Any help on how it might be accomplished is greatly appreciated
Paul.
