    Sound Alarm when time expires

    Hello,

How do I write a code that will play a sound, such as the Mozzart sound clip that comes with windows, or any other music or sound clip that is on the computer after a certain time has expired in a cell.

    Thanks,
    EMoe

I probably need to add a VBA code that automaticaaly updates the sheet, which would update the time every so many minutes.

    Thoughts????????

Compare the time, play the music

    A little clearer!

I want to compare a time entered into, say cell B1 with the current time, via formula =now(), cell A1.

When the time in A1 is the same as, or past the time entered into cell B1, activate (play) music clip.

I want to use vba to auto update the sheet, say every 3 minutes to keep the time moving/updated.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    EMoe

    Hi EMoe,

and see John Walkenbach's tip # 87 on playing sounds:

    Thanks Norman,

Looks like the right track; I'll view them both.
