Downloading Email attachement from Outlook

How can I automate a process in which I receive an email with an excel
spreadsheet and have this attachement saved in one of my directories and in
addition to this before it is saved make some changes through a macro before
filing it down.
Does anybody know of a good book which would contain any such issues?
