active cursor(blink) in text box

hi ive written a code for barcode scanner, theres a text box that awaits for the scanner input with active cursor or active cursor...i set the textbox's tab order as 0 and exit event with cancel=true, once the forms loads the cursor will be active at the textbox, but the problem is when i load another form without unloading the 1st form, and return back to the 1st form, the cursor wont be at the textbox anymore!!!!!i tried everthing from setfocus, selstart, sellength but i still can activate the cursor in the textbox unless i reload the form which i don't want...i starting to believe theres a bug or somthing cos i works in XL 2003 but not in XL 2000.someone pls help me!!! thanks!!!!
