PROJECT LOCKDOWN: Completely Protect My Workbook

I have tried passwod protection, but it still allows some functionality. The only thing that I want the user to be able to do is type numbers into the cells that I have unlocked....But nothing else.

    No, copying
    pasting
    dragging
    dropping
    removing sheets
    adding sheets
    inserting formulas
no attempting to break my password
    no anything

What do I do??! Is there a way to gray out the unprotect option and setup the unprotect on a hidden macro run by a shortcut key?

    Please help.

As far as I am concerned, if a user is determined enough they will be able to do anything they like. I have means of getting into any project, so anyone else can. It is more a matter of making things a dificult as possible.

I suggest a better method would be to send in the "heavy mob"

Most problems are caused by starting from the wrong place.
Use a cup of coffee to speed up all Windows processes.
It's easy until you know how.

    Password Protection

    Hi,

Have you tried to protect the workbook checking the "Allow select unprotected cells" in the Protection Menu?

Other way around, is to copy the data in the original sheet to another, then hide it with "Sheets(2)=xlsVeryHidden. And let the original sheet just with the cells the user will use.

    Hope this give some ideas

    Jose Luis
