Unprotect and protect vba code programmatically

Help me! Here is my problem. I have code that edits a module. The problem with doing this is that the vba code can not be protected. Anyone either know a way around this or to programmatically protect and unprotect the vba code?

Thanks for your help. I need to find out a way because people are not supposed to be changing the vba.

    Good Morning Green Falcon

What you want to do can't be I'm afraid.

Excel security is not it's strongpoint as many users are aware of - however this is a more deliberate move by Microsoft to restrict VB code from doing anything too naughty. VB is a very powerful language and can be used to do things that perhaps Microsoft never intended (such as break the Tools > Protection password, for example). If there was a way to unlock a VB module, alter code and lock it up again then it provides a window in which to crack the VBE password protection with a macro (may take a while but would be possible) which is not the case at the minute.

Probably not the answer you want to hear - sorry I can't be of any more help.
