Hello Everyone,

I'm new to programming with Excel. I'm trying to create a dictionary lookup interface and would like to use a user-input string to search a column of data. I've been successful with the 'find' method, but it finds bits and pieces of strings... I really want to search only by leftmost character.

I'm pulling my hair out over this... I have a feeling its a pretty simple proceedure.

Any ideas?
