excel date search

HI is it possible to make excel search for a date in a clumn and then highlight the row?

...depending on what you want it to do, and what the column of dates looks like the match worksheet function might to the trick.

A non-macro solution:
Use Conditional Formatting. go to format > conditional formatting and enter the required condition for the selected column range.

Drawback: highlights only the cell which satisfies the condition, and not the entire row.

Otherwise, use a macro
