    VBA book: recommendations?

    Hi,

I'm buying a book to help me learn more intermediate and advanced techniques in VBA (my employer is paying)... do you all have any recommendations?

Here are the most promising-looking that I found:

Definitive Guide To Excel Vba 2ND Edition
    by Michael Kofler

    Excel VBA Macro Programming (Programming)
    by Richard Shepherd

    Microsoft Excel VBA: Professional Projects
    by Duane Birnbaum

Microsoft Excel 2000 Power Programming with VBA with CDROM
    by John Walkenbach

    I appreciate your help. Thanks!

I have books 1 & 3 in your list. I recommend both of them highly.

The best beginner-level book is Excel97 Visual Basic Step-by-Step. Not much has changed since Excel97. And, although the book is out of print, you can always find good copies on Amazon.com

Thanks for your help. I went to a technical bookstore and browsed around for a long time, and settled on Kofler's 'Definitive Guide..'. I suppose I'm not a beginner because the Step by Step was not as advanced as I wanted; I know most of that stuff. Nice surprise.
