Question Insert Package Object macro & Nitro PDF software

    Hi!

A macro is running throughout quite a large workbook that, where triggered, prompts the user to insert an object and resize to a specific size.
We are having intermittent issues where the inserted PFD object will pop up as a white box and corrupt the excel workbook to the point where it cannot be saved without the objects being deleted.
The PDF software running on the computers is Nitro PDF. Is there any rectification to this by fixing the macro below, or am I best to contact the Nitro PDF support team to see if its an issue on there end as thats the default PDF platform:

    Thanks Sudbhavani

Tested it on the excel and throws an error: Cannot Insert Object.

I have tried on another computer and it does insert the object, but still within a white box rather than showing the icon
edit: on second computer, it corrupts the excel so the file cannot be saved

    Nitro PDF Specific Issues:

There could be an issue with Nitro PDF's integration with Excel, as it may not properly register as an OLE object handler.
Fix: Try testing the macro with a different PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, to see if the problem persists. If it works with Adobe, it suggests a compatibility issue with Nitro PDF.

    Thanks Subdhavani

I have trialled it on a different computer with a different pdf software; still the same issue. I have also tried a different class type (docx) to no avail. Lastly, I copied the macro to a blank workbook and the issue has persisted; so I dont believe its a clashing macro issue

Re-registering OLE Objects: If that doesn't work, you can try manually re-registering Excel's OLE object support using the regsvr32 command:

Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Type the following and press Enter:
