Navigating Between VBE Bookmarks

Maybe I'm missing something because I can't find information anywhere that tells me how to navigate from one bookmark to the other in the visual basic editor.

My assumption is that I can create bookmarks so that I can go back and for between particular spots in the multiple modules I have in a workbook.

In the past I used to just make a comment with a word like "here" and just control f and go back and for that way.

Am I misinterpreting how bookmarks in the visual basic editor are used?

From what I discovered bookmarks will not save, I found it was a waste of time. At least from the last time I tried using them.

I'm looking to understand how to move from one bookmark to another either through a menu or shortcut keys, do you know how to do that?

Maybe you can start using them again with the add-in I recently wrote. Take a look here. Admittedly, it doesn't save bookmarks in the Workbook_BeforeSave event, but on user request.


skywriter, because I use bookmarks a lot, I always have the Edit toolbar visible, where there are 4 icons for navigating through bookmarks. The last two in the picture are the icons for my new add-in.

Under Edit - Bookmarks there are buttons for next and previous bookmark. You can customize the menus to make them more accessible if you use them a lot.

What prompted this post was that when I found bookmarks under the edit menu there were only two choices, oddly enough toggle breakpoints and toggle bookmarks.
I thought the toggle breakpoints was odd but maybe if I add some bookmarks the option for previous and next would popup in the menu but they didn't.
Today after reading your response I go there and next and previous are there although greyed out since I hadn't added any bookmarks yet, toggle bookmarks is also a choice but toggle breakpoints is gone.

Apologies for the rant apparently it's one of those weird Windows glitches like activex controls.

Nope, now I see it was an id10t error, completely my fault.
I've never used bookmarks and I found a post saying to right click and select toggle bookmark to add a bookmark, missed bookmarks under the edit menu completely, probably because I have failing eyesight and was zoomed in and it's at the bottom the menu which was off my screen.
