Where to add a xlam file as Getting errors on it

I have a date picker addon file, but it does not work, it look like it may be in the wrong folder, where must we add a addon file for ms if it is *.xlam

Don't think it has to be in a specific folder, although access to where it's located is required for it to run.
For example, you can have an addin installed that lives a server.

Locally though, there'll be an AddIns folder somewhere in C:\Users\ByteMarks\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns which is usually the location that opens when you navigate to Addins though Excel's options.
