Prevent pasting over dropdowns

Hi all,

I have an Excel sheet in which some columns have dropdowns and others are open text fields. I want to prevent the user from pasting values over the dropdowns. For the open text fields, it is allowed to paste. The different column types are not adjacent.

I've tried VBA, but that's not working (I'm not a VBA Expert, so it's probably me).

I problem with this code is that I cannot copy anything anymore. In some columns, copying is allowed and in some not (see row 2). Would that be possible too?
