Hi everyone,
I have a question wrt the use of spin buttons, more specific making a combined value of a local spin button and a global spin button, which latter influences the combined result with all values of the local spin buttons.
In the attached *.xls I have 9 different machines. These machines contain in some more or less amount specific features. This is represented by the numbers in cells (C8:K18). The filter function (cell N8) only shows the features that fulfil the formula in M8 (and below).
Under each machine there is a spin button (see cells C5:K5). With these buttons I can create a value between 0 and 4 per specific machine in cells C3:K3.
In cell N5 there is a global spin button. If the value of corresponding cell N3 is increased with one, all the cells C3:K3 are increased with plus one until a value of 4 is reached (I made a cut-off there).
Some questions:
Is it possible to lower the value of cells C3:K3 all together even if the value of N3 is already 0?
In theory cells C3:K3 + C4 can up to 8 (e.g. C3 = 4 and N3 = 4). The formula in C3 still shows a value 4 (and can not be influenced by 'lowering' the value of N3, which is already zero).
Is it somehow possible to lower the value starting at the cut-off value of 4 (even if C3 = 4 and N3 = 4). So C3 = 4, N3 => 3) Value of C3 becomes 3 (not 7 which is cut-off at 4).
Same question for the other cells D3:K3.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards, Jan
