Be aware that you cannot count colour (or any other formatting) with a formula - it's either VBA or a different approach.

Ok here is my stab at it.
The macro checks if the interior color is not white so any color will be counted.
also you did say were you wanted the results so i put it on second sheet.
Here's a way using the FindFormat method.
