Re: Equity Release Compound Interest Calculator

Nothing is more frustrating than to be working on homework and to get stuck. Without guidance, you might have no hope of finishing the assignment before the deadline. The Internet can be a big help in that respect, but without learning how to get the right answer, asking others to solve your homework questions for you simply becomes a downward spiral (and it's cheating).

We do not want to contribute to you cheating yourself out of your education, but we also acknowledge that seeking assistance to learn a concept is a legitimate request.

If you are genuinely interested in receiving help in the form of tutoring or coaching, then please rephrase the title of your original post to clearly indicate you are seeking coaching or tutoring help. Any forum members (who are willing to assist as a tutor) will modify their responses accordingly to facilitate your learning. Tutors don't tell you the answers, they help you figure it out for yourself; so don't expect answers, expect suggestions, or just plain hints. Also, be specific in describing the function/formula or technique you trying to learn, and tell us what you have attempted so far. Otherwise, expect your plea for homework answers to be ignored.

I WAS NOT trying to get somthing for nothing or anything like that , so lets get the sorted first.

All I was asking for is there a vba workbook out there or on this forum that I can get somw ideas from
On a LOT of other forums they come back and give you some ideas on how to start.
OR some one on this could say that they could do it for xyz price

SO please do not acuse me of getting soming for nothing

    Thank you

attached is the basic method I used when making comparisons versus downsizing etc.,
it is just a set of basic formulae - it can be presented in a more pleasing graphically manner if required.
there are naturally many more elements to consider other than the pure financial.

Nobody accused you of that, so let's get that straight.

Your opening post does read a little bit like a homework brief, which is why zbor posted what he did.

All you had to say was that it was not a homework assignment.

Are you still using Excel 2007? If not, please get your forum profile updated. Thanks.

Tooooooo much reading between the lines
Why not just give a solution to a question, the O.P. would not have made the query if they had known the answer.

I'm 59 and female and it was NOT in any way, shape or form bullying behaviour. Believe me, if it were, it would have been stamped on from a great height by me. However, I take your point about it perhaps feeling condescending and I am sorry that it has upset you.
